Head of sustainability and public affairs
Daniel Skog is head of sustainability and public affairs at the Swedish Tourist association, STF. With around 250 000 members and 250 accommodations around Sweden STF is one of the larger actors on the Swedish hotel market. Daniel is responsible for the implementation of the Sustainability pledge that since 2016 is mandatory for all hotels, hostels and mountain stations connected to STF. With a professional background within sustainability since 1998 in public, private and non-profit sector Daniel has been involved in the strive for a more ecological sustainable world on several positions. The topics of energy, transportation and environmental communication have always been present since his graduation with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Malmö University.
