2020 has been a year like no other. As the global pandemic of Covid 19 changed life the world over, the travel industry faced the largest and least anticipated crisis in its history. Lockdowns and quarantine restrictions became a way of life. Airports sat eerily empty, hotels were forced to adopt new policies and procedures as we embraced social distancing. We had not seen anything like this.
As we worked to adapt and make sense of what was happening, long term, commercial strategies made way for knee jerk responses to the ever changing political, economic, and social landscape. For all, it has brought challenges we could never have imagined.
