Having graduated in Tourism from Complutense University in Spain, Alin worked in hotels in Madrid and London. He moved from the front desk to the back office and then to management, where he became more and more curious about online distribution and the software that enables it.
More than a Tech enthusiast, he is a self-taught programmer, and has successfully built and deployed free to use apps as a hobby which are used today by people all over the world.
Over the last 6 years at RateTiger, Alin has helped hundreds of hotels with their distribution issues and lead developments for some of the biggest chains in the world, liaising directly with them.
Alin hopes that one day he will learn Bengali so he can converse with his colleagues in India – one of his favourite countries which he is lucky enough to visit several times a year.
