James has led teams in a number of businesses across Travel & Leisure (IHG, FTSE 100), Technology (Travelport, $3bn revenues with active start-up incubation programme) and Consumer goods (Unilever, FTSE 100).
Key services include intense “Strategy Sprints” – productive workshops & short projects,. “Strategy Coach” – a programme of structured ongoing 1 to 1 sessions and “Interim Leadership” – working inside your business alongside the leadership team.
Prior work includes leading IHGs Commercial & Technical Strategy; embedding a Partnership Innovation team into the European hotel business and designing IHG’s Channel and Distribution Partnership Strategy; plus James launched homestay pilots with Marriott which evolved into a sister business named Marriott Homes and Villas. The Growth Works also work with a number of regional and disruptive hotel and accommodation and traveltech businesses
