Leif will talk about some of the complexities that are surrounding revenue management, both from an analytical/mathematical viewpoint and from the sheer scale of it. Is it possible to do a good job as a human? If not, what should the revenue manager work with? On top of that he will also share his view on what the future will look like in the industry.
Leif has a background in computer science and is a serial entrepreneur. His previous venture Admeta was an automatic revenue management system for online publishers that managed more than 30 billion ad views per month, plus it never lost an optimization benchmark (not even to Googles competing product). Admeta was sold in 2014 and in 2016 he started Atomize to transform the revenue management of the hospitality industry. As a funny side note he has also started a bikini company that sells beachwear that you get a tan through 🙂
Atomize offers hoteliers the opportunity to increase their RevPAR by automatically setting the optimal price at any given moment, for every room and booking type.
