Fredrik Reinfeldt is currently active as an entrepreneur, lecturer and adviser. Since May 2022, he has been chairman of Visita, the Swedish hospitality industry’s branch and employer organisation
Reinfeldt is also chairman of “Centrum for AMP”. AMP stands for “Affärs- och MedborgarPlats” (Business and Citizen Place). Centrum’s task is to gather the knowledge and experience available in terms of how to create safe and secure places in the local environment.
In May 2021, he took office as chairman of “Drivkraft Sverige”. Drivkraft Sverige is the industry organisation for the fuel industry. The member companies offer sustainable mobility and ensure that there is fuel for sustainable travel and transport as well as bitumen for roads throughout the country. The organisation works to ensure that Sweden becomes climate neutral by 2045.
During 2016-2019, Fredrik Reinfeldt held the international assignment as chairman of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI). EITI is a collaboration in which 55 countries work for greater openness around trade and management of natural resources.
In 2015, he wrote the book “Halvvägs” (Halfway) about his 25 years in politics. In September 2020, he came out with a new book; “November 2020 – Ödesvalet” (November 3, 2020 – the choice of destiny) which is an in-depth review of America’s democracy and political system. It explains what is at stake and what determines who is elected president in November – and what kind of world it leads to in the 2020s.
